Email Settings

If your website package includes an email account, you'll probably want to add this account to your personal device so that you can send and receive emails from your phone or computer.

Most phones and computers include email software as standard, and the steps to add an account will vary for each.

For example, Windows computers include Outlook, Apple Macs include Mail. You can also use software such as Gmail or Yahoo Mail to send and receive emails on your new account.

In all cases you will usually need to enter the following four details (which will be provided by your website designer):

  1. Email (or Username), e.g. youremail@yourcompany.co.uk

  2. Password

  3. Incoming mail server (or POP server): nl1-tr101.supercp.com
    If IMAP server, port: 993
    If POP3 server, port 995

  4. Outgoing email server (or SMTP server): nl1-tr101.supercp.com
    Port: 465 (if requested)

If you want to use Gmail for this, there are some quite good instructions at

For other email apps, there are generally lots of tutorials or Youtube videos you can use. Just do a search for "setting up an email in ......" with the name of your email software.
